It’s this time of year again. The table will overflow with amazing foods – turkey, yams, pies, and other tasty treats. But you’re on a diet! How will you ever endure that torture?!

On the other hand, what CAN harm your diet is you sitting with all of your family, sour to your soul, because you decided you can’t, absolutely can’t!, eat any of the festive food your family is feasting on. Let’s be realistic – no one is that strong. You’ll most likely end up devouring the leftovers as soon as everyone else goes to sleep. How is that a celebration?
Relax. Enjoy this time and don’t think about barriers or limits you set yourself. Be thankful for your progress so far and cut yourself some slack. You worked hard, but now it’s time to wind down a little.
